The Facilities

Facilities available for Wellbeing Centre Teddington

Client access to the therapeutic rooms is via an intercom at the street door and doorbell to the practice.

In general, the centre is run to facilitate 50-minute and 25-minute (body workers) therapy sessions, so that practitioners can then be available to answer the intercom to their arriving clients.  Whilst there is a waiting area, there is no reception.

There is a unisex toilet and hand washing facility for exclusive use by clients and practitioners.

There is a kitchen which has facilities for making of hot drinks with tea, herbal teas, coffee, sugar and milk are provided. There is also a fridge and a dishwasher.  There is an area for practitioners to sit and eat.  There are numerous cafes, restaurants and take away places nearby.

There is a storeroom available for the use by practitioners.  Any professional materials, e.g. art materials etc. can be stored between bookings.  Art pads and pens will be available.

In the group space, comfortable chairs are provided for group, workshop and training bookings. There is also a CD player.

The centre has wireless internet access which should provide sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing (zoom and skype).

Access to the practice is by voice intercom allowing practitioners to identify clients before allowing access, there is then a secure door at which the client can be identified before entering the practice area.

Practitioners will have a unique access code to enter the centre. If a key is required, then a returnable deposit will be taken.

There is no lift in the premises, and there are stairs to some of the rooms, disabled access is therefore restricted.
